Prophetess and Steve's Uggboot were slow to begin.
Balance, Ice Cold Yug, Bomber Creek and Steve's Uggboot collided approaching the first turn, checking Steve's Uggboot. Steve's Uggboot and Prophetess raced wide on the home turn.
Steve's Uggboot underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hindleg spike wound injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
