The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing for Just A Fidget with Representative Mr. A. Formosa and noted his comments.
Looby Sky was quick to begin.
Cherokee Fawn and Razor Roy collided soon after the start checking Cherokee Fawn. Just A Fidget and Steinmark collided approaching the first turn checking Steinmark causing Cherokee Fawn to race wide. Just A Fidget checked off Steinmark approaching the second turn causing Just A Fidget and Cherokee Fawn to collide checking both greyhounds. Cosmic Vigilante checked off Looby Sky on the third turn. Cosmic Vigilante and Steinmark collided on the home turn. Sheer Bliss and Razor Roy collided several times in the home straight.
A post-race sample was taken from Sheer Bliss- the winner of the event.
Just A Fidget underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock sprain. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Razor Roy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
