Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face-masks/covers that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Burnish stumbled soon after the start and lost ground.  Draconic Lad and Lovin' The Sun collided soon after the start and again at the 150m.  La Senorita Roja crossed out approaching the 50m and lost ground.

Italia Bella underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

La Senorita Roja underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg chest injury.  A five day stand down period was imposed.

Send It Tucker and Noaki Street collided soon after the start.  Golden Boy and Electric Zulu collided soon after the start.  Custom Roof and Dinkydi Barney collided at the 300m mark.  Custom Roof and Sedona collided at the 250m mark.  Noaki Street and Electric Zulu collided at the 200m mark.

Patriot Lincoln – New declared weight of 35.9 kgs, last raced at 34.5 kgs.

Forever Nineteen and Patriot Lincoln were slow to begin.

Ishmy Neecy and Parumba Barty collided at the 250m mark, checking both greyhounds.  Just The Marjen and Parumba Barty collided at the 200m mark, checking Parumba Barty.  Forever Nineteen lost ground from the 200m mark.

Forever Nineteen underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have right foreleg wrist and right hindleg pencil/whip injuries.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Mr B Keel was issued with a warning after the greyhound, Patriot Lincoln was negligently (GAR 86(o)) placed in the incorrect kennel during the kenneling process.

Stewards spoke with trainer, Mr T Duncan after there was significant market support for All Inn Billy in today's event.  Mr Duncan stated that the greyhound had trialled well and was unlucky last start.  He expected All Inn Billy to run well in today's event.  He further stated that he did not have a wager on All Inn Billy today.  Stewards accepted Mr Duncan's explanation and directed that a post-race sample be taken from All Inn Billy for analysis.

Billy's Missile and Havelock Keith collided at the 300m mark.  Atomic Icon and Unique Quality raced wide throughout the event.

Time To Talk, Perfect Colour and Riddles collided soon after the start.  Black Hornet and Riddles collided soon after the start.  Eye Catcher and Big Bazza collided at the 300m mark.  Big Bazza and Mt. View Audrey collided at the 200m mark.  Black Hornet crossed to the outside at the 100m mark, checking Mt. Veiw Audrey and Perfect Colour.

Superior Breeze checked off Runnin' Royalty at the 300m mark.  Runnin' Royalty, Nebraska Nell and Cosmic Ox collided at the 250m mark, checking Nebraska Nell.  Runnin' Royalty and Cosmic Ox collided at the 150m mark.  Cosmic Ox checked off Midnight Monarch at the 100m mark.  Runnin' Royalty and Cosmic Ox collided several times from the 50m mark to the winning post.

Star Blazer was slow to begin.

One To Savour crossed to the outside at the 300m mark, checking Mepunga Missile and Dimensional.  Dimensional and Weblec Smoke collided at the 250m mark.  Star Blazer and One To Savour collided at the 250m mark and again at the 100m mark, checking both greyhounds.  Star Blazer and One To Savour collided several times from the 50m mark to the winning post.

Ima Rebel – New declared weight of 34.3 kgs, last raced at 33.0 kgs.

Kadaex Kid and Ryben Jack were slow to begin.

Ima Rebel and Kracka Barcia collided soon after the start.  Kadalex Kid crossed to the outside at the 250m mark and raced wide throughout the event.  Ima Rebel checked off Ryben Jack at the 100m mark.

Kadalex Kid underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hindleg back muscle injury.  A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Kireina was quick to begin.  Straaljager was slow to begin.

Expense Eve and Mumma's Bear collided at the 250m mark.  Tubark and Love Heart collided at the 150m mark, checking Love Heart.  Straaljager, Expense Eve and Mumma's Bear collided at the 100m mark, checking Expense Eve.  Reggae Mikado and Love Heart collided at the 50m mark.
