Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face-masks/covers that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Nella Ruslie underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right triangle muscle and left shin.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Swift Intention was checked off Rhonda Lily approaching the first turn checking Cosmic Vigilante, Incognito and Sonic Sensation.  Cosmic Vigilante was checked off Swift Intention on the second turn. Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Reinders the trainer of Sonic Sensation regarding the greyhound's performance in this event.  Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71 Sonic Sensation must perform a satisfactory trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Bella Edition was checked off Chun Li on the second turn checking Dewana Success.  Bella Edition and Dewana Success collided in the back straight.  Dewana Success and Why Not Paps collided entering the home straight.

He Shall Blitz was slow to begin.  Crackerjack Kane, True Alpha and Razor Roy collided soon after the start checking True Alpha.  Imminent Reality, Crackerjack Kane, Razor Roy and Henessey Venom collided approaching the first turn checking Razor Roy.  Crackerjack Kane and Razor Burn collided on the first turn.  Razor Roy crossed out on the first turn severely checking Henessey Venom and He Shall Blitz, Razor Roy fell as a result and He Shall Blitz lost considerable ground.  Imminent Reality and Crackerjack Kane collided in the home straight.
