Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face-masks/covers that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Inky's Fireball, Sugar Spice and Our Girl Bailee collided on the first turn checking Inky's Fireball. Inky's Fireball clipped the heels of Sugar Spice approaching the home turn checking Inky's Fireball. Inky's Fireball and Destini Arrow collided on the home turn.

Who's Spolly and Elanda Bale collided soon after the start. Tinker Count checked off Kraken Storm on the first turn checking Elanda Bale.

Crown Knox was slow to begin. Sonny Daze, Konta and Mustang Havoc collided approaching the first turn. Sonny Daze and Konta collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Trash, Rev Up Rob and Blueberry Hill collided on the first turn. Blueberry Hill and Konta collided on the home turn checking Konta. Rolling Stone and Rev Up Rob collided entering the home straight.

Catalina Icon and Hua Hin collided soon after the start. Major Bourbski and Clean Slate collided on the first turn checking Clean Slate. Dissociative, Bush Bro and Oddjob Lad collided entering the back straight checking Bush Bro and Oddjob Lad. Hua Hin and Bush Bro collided in the home straight checking both greyhounds.

Mahogany Jet was slow to begin. Diorite Fire and Barellen Chubby collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Mahogany Jet and Aston Lopez collided in the home straight checking Aston Lopez.

Houlio was quick to begin. Winlock Sunshine and Hatter's Lane collided on the home turn. Barooga Smoke checked off Houlio entering the home straight.

Headwall and Kelli Pochette collided soon after the start checking Kelli Pochette. Headwall, Kenita and Autumn Haze collided approaching the first turn checking Kenita. Kenita and Autumn Haze collided on the first turn. Kelli Pochette faltered approaching the the home turn and lost ground. Kenita and Autumn Haze collided on the home turn checking Kenita.

Kelli Pochette underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left elbow and chest muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Zipping Benson, Abby's Star, Typhoon Tessie and Usain Spolly collided on tthe first turn checking all four greyhounds, severely checking Aston Heidi which fell as a result.

Aston Heidi underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.

Kraken Ruben, Spolly's Beauty and Spring Typhoon were slow to begin. Flying Farrokh, Eureka Icon and Max's Idol collided soon after the start checking Eureka Icon. Flying Farrokh raced wide in the home straight. Max's Idol and Aston Bintang collided approaching the winning post.

Wired and Awesome Grit collided soon after the start. Soda Girl galloped on the heels of Kraken Jane Babe approaching the first turn checking Kraken Jane Babe. Max Voltage and Travelling Sands collided on the first turn. Max Voltage and Awesome Grit collided on the first turn checking Awesome Grit. Soda Girl and Max Voltage collided approaching the home turn checking Max Voltage. Kernel Panic and Soda Girl collided on the home turn. Kernel Panic raced wide in the home straight. Wired and Kraken Jane Babe collided approaching the winning post.
