Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was unable to be taken from Pontiac Lass, a post-race sample was subsequently taken.
Kid Malawi and Kuta Cowboy were slow to begin.
Kid Malawi checked off Braemar Ally Fay soon after the start. Braemar Ally Fay shifted out soon after the start severely checking Our Girl Daisy, Pontiac Lass, Kuta Cowboy and No Sitting Back; Braemar Ally Fay lost considerable ground. Kid Malawi crossed to the outside at the 250m mark and collided with Swordfish Fozz. No Sitting Back and Kuta Cowboy collided several times from the 250m mark to the winning post causing both greyhounds to lose considerable ground. Kid Malawi and Swordfish Fozz collided several times from the 50m mark to the winning post.
No Sitting Back underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the pelvis, left chest muscle and right triangle muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Kuta Cowboy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right wrist sprain. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
