Firefly Star was quick to begin. Betty Spaghetti was slow to begin and stumbled soon after the start.
Tinker Scott checked off Crumb Snags on the first turn, checking Fishbone Express and Five Bucks Down. Crumb Snags galloped on the heels of Speedy Blue approaching the home turn, checking Crumb Snags, Speedy Blue, Tinker Scott and Five Bucks Down. Tinker Scott and Five Bucks Down collided on the home turn. Betty Spaghetti raced wide entering the home straight. Five Bucks Down checked off Tinker Scott in the home straight.
