Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

Dinkydi Asset,Classy Stringer, Exclusively Mine and Aces And Eights collided approaching the first turn. Rock On John veered out and marred Spun Out approaching the winning post. Rock On John underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the right hock. No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Abela, the trainer of Rock On John regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Rock On John was charged with marring. Mr. Abela pleaded guilty to the charge, Rock On John is suspended for 28 days at Shepparton and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

All Ablaze, Cruyff, Kraken Thunder and Nonna Josie were slow to begin. Aston Ryker galloped on Tommy Typhoon on the first turn checking Aston Ryker, Tommy Typhoon, Kraken Thunder, Read Alot, Skeleton Key and Nonna Josie. Cruyff checked off Skeleton Key on the home turn.

Making Gravy was slow to begin.

Run Baba Run and Bound To Succeed collided on the first turn checking Run Baba Run and Sir Julian. Especial Empire checked off Imperial Jack on the home turn. Making Gravy and Imperial Jack collided in the home straight.

Special Talent and Twilight Connie were slow to begin.

Tat Warby, Typhoon Bolt, Ignite The Stars, Dirty Max and Special Talent collided on the first turn checking Tat Warby, Typhoon Bolt, Ignite The Stars, Any Luck and Twilight Connie and causing Dirty Max to fall. Autumn Haze and Special Talent collided several times on the home turn checking both greyhounds.

Dirty Max underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have soreness in the left elbow and an abrasion to the left thigh. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Shaun John was slow to begin.

Shaun John and Amigo Two collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Blazin' Ruby and Crazy Old Fool collided approaching the winning post checking Crazy Old Fool.
