King I Am - Late scratching at 1:21pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a left back muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
A pre-race sample was taken from Corazon De Leon.
Blast Zone and Limburg Special were quick to begin. Corazon De Leon and Nobel Prize were slow to begin. Cyclone Zara, Speedy Jack and Limburg Special collided soon after the start checking Limburg Special and Corazon De Leon. Speedy Jack and Una's Boy collided on the first turn checking Una's Boy. Limburg Special and Una's Boy collided on the first turn checking Una's Boy. Speedy Jack checked off Corazon De Leon approaching the home turn.
