Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Curator Mr T. Dempsey advised the track was deeply harrowed on Thursday 23rd April 2020. 

Sassy Queen was slow to begin. Runnin' Riot and Sienna's Ace collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Tinker Cindy, Maybe Sienna and Run on Time collided approaching the first turn checking Maybe Sienna and Run On Time. Lawson Drive and Ollie Mambo collided approaching the first turn. Run On Time and Maybe Sienna collided on the first turn checking Maybe Sienna, Sienna's Ace and Runnin' Riot. Sienna's Ace galloped on Runnin' Riot approaching the home turn checking Sienna's Ace and severely checking Runnin' Riot which subsequently pulled up. 

Runnin' Riot underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 5. Runnin' Riot was found to have injuries to the right triangle muscle and left monkey muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

Ginger Meggs was slow to begin. Cute Indeed, Agent Jordan, Blue Crayon, Nitro Georgie and Maybe Gracie collided soon after the start checking Blue Crayon, Nitro Georgie and Maybe Gracie. Agent Jordan and Cute Indeed collided on the first turn checking Cute Indeed. Nitro Georgie and Maybe Gracie collided on the first turn checking Nitro Georgie. Dancing Sienna checked off Cute Indeed on the first turn. Blue Crayon checked off Mizuki Rose approaching the winning post. 

A post-race sample was taken from Cute Indeed - placed second in the event. Stewards queried Trainer Mr B. Stirling regarding the significant betting fluctuation for the greyhound in this event ($17 > $3.8 > $4.8). Mr Stirling stated that the greyhound performs better at Geelong and he was confident the greyhound would place in the event. Mr Stirling explained that he did not place a bet on the greyhound however some connections to the kennel placed small wagers. Mr Stirling further added that the betting move may have been a result of exposed form of his greyhound compared to other runners in the event. Stewards noted Mr Stirling's comments.

Inga Bobby was slow to begin. Max Mercury, Well Grounded and Inga Alfie collided soon after the start checking Max Mercury. Ernie Prang and Snooker Que collided soon after the start. Zipping Reuben, Inga Alfie and Well Grounded collided approaching the first turn checking all three greyhounds. Ernie Prang and Snooker Que collided on the first turn checking Ernie Prang. Inga Alfie checked off Ernie Prang on the first turn. Inga Alfie and Zipping Reuben collided on the first turn. Snooker Que checked off Love And Rain approaching the home turn. Ernie Prang and Well Grounded  collided approaching the home turn checking Well Grounded. Inga Alfie and Zipping Reuben collided on the home turn. Zipping Reuben and Inga Bobby collided on the home turn checking Inga Bobby.

Run Shifty Run and Butter Puddin' were slow to begin. Run Shifty Run brushed the rail approaching the first turn and lost ground. Mystic Rose, Lee Ali and Anubis Al collided on the first turn. Sweet Osaka, Butter Puddin', Steampunk Wolf and Run From Reality collided on the first turn checking Sweet Osaka and Run From Reality and severely checking Steampunk Wolf which subsequently fell. 

Steampunk Wolf underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a torn nail on the right foreleg. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

Run Shifty Run underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hamstring injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Ted Do was slow to begin. Razor Burn, Cawbourne Gout, Denzell Bale and Who Is Arandt collided soon after the start checking Cawbourne Gout, Denzell Bale and Who Is Arandt. Cuteness and Denzell Bale collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Cawbourne Gout and Who Is Arandt collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Inga Mia checked off Inga Leo on the first turn. Inga Mia and Denzell Bale collided on the first turn checking Inga Mia. Cuteness, Cawbourne Gout and Ted Do collided on the first turn checking Ted Do, Cawbourne Gout and Who Is Arandt. 

Inga Mia underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have soreness in both monkey muscles. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

A post-race sample was taken from Razor Burn - the winner of the event. 

A sample was taken from Renewed at the Trainer’s kennel earlier today. 

Oddjob Lad and Mepunga Spectre collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Earn The Frank, Renewed, Tan Back Tan and So Tough collided soon after the start checking Renewed, Tan Back Tan and So Tough. Renewed and Oddjob Lad collided on the first turn. Screen Shot and Snake Pit Lass collided entering the home straight. 

Trainer Mr Robert Crawford, requested an early race endorsement for Speed Force. The endorsement was approved for Speed Force after an examination prior to racing by the on-track veterinarian. Stewards directed the greyhound compete in Early Races only until further notice.

Graphic Print was quick to begin. Sarcasmic was slow to begin. Miss Heart, Lethal Image, Speed Force and Tiggerlong Ginga collided soon after the start. Lethal Image and Sarcasmic collided on the first turn checking Lethal Image, Sarcasmic and Miss Heart. Graphic Print and Black Mustang collided approaching the home turn checking Graphic Print. Tiggerlong Ginga checked off Aston Gripen approaching the home turn.

I'm A Krakouer and Aston Lindop collided soon after the start. Noonbarra Jack, Aston Ando, I'm A Krakouer, Aston Lindop collided approaching the first turn checking all four greyhounds. King I Am - Late scratching at 1:21pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a left back muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
