Steward's Report
Winlock Homes, Dale's Jet and Jitterbug Witch collided approaching the first turn checking Dale's Jet. Our Harriet checked off Doran's Call on the first turn checking Tough Grit. Clovally Granite and Doran's Call collided approaching the home turn. Tough Grit marred Our Harriet entering the home straight causing both greyhounds to race wide as a result.
Stewards spoke with Ms Brielle Merton regarding the boxing of Dale's Jet.
Stewards spoke to Mr P. Kalatsis, the representative of Tough Grit regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Tough Grit was charged with marring. Mr Kalatsis pleaded guilty to the charge, Tough Grit is suspended for 28 days at Shepparton and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
