Steward's Report
Wee Fishin' was slow to begin. Dusty Victorem and Ryder Patrol collided soon after the start. Quid Pro Quo and Spot On Dot collided soon after the start. Ryder Patrol, Dusty Victorem and Spot On Dot collided on the first turn. Quid Pro Quo and Blue Paradigm collided on the first turn checking Blue Paradigm. Dusty Victorem and Ryder Patrol collided on the second turn. Blue Paradigm eased on the second turn and lost ground. Dusty Victorem and Ryder Patrol collided approaching the home turn checking Dusty Victorem.
Blue Paradigm underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have aleft calf muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Mr. P. Radstock, regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the second turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Blue Paradigm was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Radstock pleaded guilty to the charge, Blue Paradigm must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
