Black Aria and Ignatious Bale collided soon after the start. Why Not Jamie, Och Eye Mum and Paisley Bale collided soon after the start checking Och Eye Mum and Paisley Bale. Paisley Bale, Och Eye Mum and Black Aria collided on the first turn checking Och Eye Mum. Devon Shadow checked off Ignatious Bale on the first turn. Black Aria and Paisley Bale collided on the home turn and again in the home straight. Och Eye Mum and Devon Shadow raced wide in the home straight.
Black Aria underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Trainer Mr M. Bewley was queried regarding the racing manners of Black Aria on the home turn and entering the home straight. Ater viewing all available replays, acting on their own observations and taking evidence from Mr. Bewley, Stewards issued a warning regarding Black Aria's racing manners on the home turn.
