Modification to starting procedures - Due to Government advice around COVID-19, in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards directed the Starter to ensure greyhounds were placed in the starting boxes in the following order, 1 & 5, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8 for all races.

Dress code - All participants that are allowed on course, as per attendance regulations, must be dressed in accordance with the dress code as set out in the rules (ie; black and whites) at all times – including kennelling

A pre-race sample was taken from Berkel Boy.

Star Ballerina was slow to begin.

Ikora Bale and Cosmic Yani collided soon after the start checking Cosmic Yani. Alvira and Berkel Boy collided on the first turn. Berkel Boy and Wendalin Bale collided on the home turn.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Lektra Style, a post race sample was subsequently taken.

Lektra Style was quick to begin. Zipping Trent and Emergency were slow to begin.

Emergency underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury and a right pectoral muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Banjo Plato was slow to begin.

Blackpool Pantha and Delancy Bale collided soon after the start checking Delancy Bale. Blackpool Pantha, New For One and Banjo Plato collided approaching the first turn checking New For One and Banjo Plato. Euchre John and Gray Grey Goose collided on the first turn checking Gray Grey Goose.

Sudoku Ninja and Graphic Print were slow to begin and collided soon after the start.

Blue Heist, Debt Hacker and Cawbourne Dolly collided approaching the first turn checking Debt Hacker and Cawbourne Dolly. Debt Hacker and Cawbourne Dolly collided on the first turn causing Debt Hacker to falter and subsequently tail off. Shifter Magic and Cawbourne Dolly collided approaching the winning post.

Debt Hacker underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hindleg hock injury. Debt Hacker was humanely euthanased.

Josephine was quick to begin. Gala Bale was slow to begin.

Fernando's Flare stumbled at the start. Habib, Hey There Sara and Tiggerlong Al collided soon after the start checking Habib. Magic Panther, Habib and Gala Bale collided approaching the first turn. Blackpool Amour, Josephine, Fernando's Flare, Hey There Sara and Tiggerlong Al collided on the first turn checking Fernando's Flare and Tiggerlong Al and severely checking Josephine which fell as a result. Magic Panther brushed the rail on the first turn and lost ground.

Josephine underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Three Toots was quick to begin. Lena Lake was slow to begin.

Down Mexico Way and Barbados Dream collided soon after the start checking Down Mexico Way. Barbados Dream and Spinifex Gold collided approaching the first turn checking Spinifex Gold. Lap It Up and Hungry Eyes collided on the first turn checking Hungry Eyes. Barbados Dream galloped on Hungry Eyes approaching the home turn checking Barbados Dream and Hungry Eyes. Barbados Dream checked off Hungry Eyes on the home turn checking Spinifex Gold and Down Mexico Way.

A post-race sample was taken from Three Toots - the winner of the event.

Aston Asahi, Fran Bale and Our Manny collided soon after the start. Crazy Old Goat checked off Newtown Angel approaching the first turn. Crazy Old Goat and Aston Asahi collided on the first turn checking Crazy Old Goat. Rosie Yaala galloped on Kranskey approaching the home turn checking Kranskey and Rosie Yaala. Our Manny, Kranskey and Crazy Old Goat collided on the home turn. Aston Asahi and Fran Bale collided on the home turn. Aston Asahi, Kranskey and Crazy Old Goat collided in the home straight checking Kranskey and Crazy Old Goat.

A post-race sample was taken from Newtown Angel - the winner of the event.

Tiggerlong Back was slow to begin.

Quick Income checked off Kinloch Journey on the first turn. Quick Income, Aston Meilleur and Pure Cool Titan collided on the home turn severely checking Aston Meilleur which stumbled, checking Completed. Crackerjack Daza galloped on Kinloch Journey entering the home straight checking Crackerjack Daza and Kinloch Journey.

Aston Meilleur underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right deltoid muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

My Mate Wally, Glascoe Sally and Black Tess were quick to begin. Sarah Smirnoff was slow to begin.
