Superior Merlot, Team Spolly, Light Show and Metric Converse collided soon after the start checking Superior Merlot and Metric Converse.  Knuckle Buster checked off Team Spolly approaching the first turn.  Team Spolly checked off Maximum Abbie approaching the first turn.  Knuckle Buster and Team Spolly collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  

Stewards spoke to Mr J. Bosnich the representative of Team Spolly and issued a warning regarding the greyhounds box manners.

Rebel May Road, Predator and Devon Shadow were slow to begin.

My Bro Lucky, Yellowtail Bear and Predator collided soon after the start.  Yellowtail Bear and Predator collided approaching the first turn.  My Bro Lucky contacted the running rail approaching the first turn.  Rebel May Road and Darcon Lass collided on the first turn.  Luna Chick raced wide and collided with Devon Shadow on the third turn, the home turn and in the home straight checking both greyhounds.  Predator and Darcon Lass collided approaching the winning post.

Luna Chick underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 4 - no apparent injury was reported.

Stewards spoke to Mr S. Ralph, the trainer of Luna Chick who stated the greyhound has a tenancy to race wide and was of the opinion that Devon Shadow was attempting to race closer to the rail. After viewing all available video footage Stewards issued a warning regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn.

La Quinta Rocks underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Stewards spoke to Mr K. Wright the trainer of Yellowtail Bear. Acting under the provisions of GAR 48, Stewards issued a warning to Mr Wright for his failure to engage a catcher for his greyhound in this event. 

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Predator, a post-race sample was subsequently taken.

Zambora Tara went up with the lids and was slow to begin.  Catch Me Spolly was slow to begin.

Maximum Sarah, Ignite The Stars, Hayley's Hero and No Standing collided on the first turn checking No Standing.  Hayley's Hero and Ignite The Stars collided on the first turn checking Hayley's Hero.  Catch Me Spolly checked off Maximum Sarah on the first turn checking Maverick Rosa.  Zambora Tara and Catch Me Spolly collided on the home turn checking Zambora Tara, Catch Me Spolly and Maverick Rosa.  Catch Me Spolly and Maverick Rosa raced wide on the home turn.  

Spolly's Beauty - Late scratching at 6.06pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr J. Bosinch was fined $100.

Kramer Bale Peaked and Tex Kingdom collided approaching the first turn.  Bigwig, Sabakat and Tiger Spolly collided on the first turn checking Fun Time Mikado, Sabakat and Tiger Spolly.

Spinfex Gold, Galloping Occy and Inga Mikey were quick to begin and collided on the first turn checking Crackerjack Nash, Inga Mikey, Patient Panda, Dundeee Blitz and severely checking Spinifex Gold which fell as result.  Crackerjack Nash and Inga Mikey collided on the second turn and again on the home turn.  

Stewards noted that the muzzle of Spinifex Gold became dislodged when the greyhound fell on the first turn.

Spinifex Gold underwent a veterinary examination and was found to have a right hamstring injury.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.  

Kinloch Journey and Early Speed were quick to begin.  Pilot Pete was slow to begin.

Kinloch Journey and Red Queen collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Red Queen and Lucas Rose collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds and causing Pilot Pete to race wide.

A pre-race sample was taken from Gypsy Hook.

Gypsy Hook was slow to begin.  Blue Irish was very slow to begin (3 lengths).

Blue Irish raced wide on the first turn.  Gypsy Hook raced wide approaching the home turn. 

Lightwood Lass was quick to begin.  Timmy Tunga and Romeo Lad were slow to begin.

Aurora Miss checked off Loco Queen soon after the start.  Loco Queen, Red On Black and Lightwood Lass collided approaching the first turn.  Romeo Lad and Lightwood Lass collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds which raced wide as a result checking Boycey Road.  Aurora Miss and Timmy Tunga collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Red On Black and Refresh collided on the third turn.  Lightwood Lass and Boycey Road raced wide in the back straight and again in the home straight.  Loco Queen and Refresh collided approaching the winning post.

Banjo Glitter, Superior Kiki, She Ignites collided approaching the first turn checking She Ignites.  Beth Ablaze, Superior Kiki and Gypsy Kiowa collided on the first turn.  Beth Ablaze checked off Superior Kiki approaching the home turn.

Gone Early and Architecture collided soon after the start.  Zambora Cash checked off Cloncurry Girl on the first turn checking Tinker Buzz and Zambora Cash.  Levy's Banjo raced wide from the first turn to the home turn.

Gray Grey Goose underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left calf injury and brusing to the left radius.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Ruth's Girl underwent a veterinary examination prior to racing and was passed fit to race. 

Tuiaki Dora was quick to begin.

Taking Off and Zipping Lucky collided on the first turn checking Taking Off and Ruth's Girl.  Zipping Lucky raced wide in the home straight.
