Steward's Report
Acting on a confirmed phone call from trainer Mr D.Basile, Super Switch was a late scratching at 11:32am by Order of Stewards, Stewards accepted Mr Basiles explanation and no stand down penalty was applied.
Janray Rastus - Late scratching at 6:24pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr Terry Meyer was fined $100.
A pre-race sample was taken from Spookie Charm.
Aston Squire and Miss Never Mind were slow to begin. Spookie Charm and Defendant collided on the first turn, checking Spookie Charm. Spookie Charm checked off Defendant on the home turn. Miss Never Mind raced wide entering the home straight.
