Waltz On Bye checked off Magnet Force soon after the start. Lancashire, Miss Adelaide, Terka Wye and Magnet Force collided approaching the first turn, checking Miss Adelaide. Lancashire checked off Terka Wye on the first turn. Solar Life checked off Magnet Force on the first turn.
Solar Life underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hindleg abraded paw pad/webbing injury. A five day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Nitro Roxy - the winner of the event.
