Rezzie's Choice and Nicko Danger collided soon after the start, checking Rezzie's Choice. Kiewa River Run and Bruiser Bruce collided approaching the first turn. Kiewa River Run and Stagger Out Erny collided approaching the first turn. Nicko Dancer, Sparkle Dust and Bruiser Bruce collided approaching the first turn. Nicko Dancer and Sparkle Dust collided on the first turn. Bruiser Bruce, Kiewa River Run and Rezzie's Choice collided entering the home straight, checking Kiewa River Run. Nicko Dancer veered in and marred the running of Bruiser Bruce in the home straight, checking Bruiser Bruce.
Nicko Dancer underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Mr P.Clark, the trainer of Nicko Dancer regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Nicko Dancer was charged with marring. Mr Clark pleaded guilty to the charge, Nicko Dancer is suspended for 28 days at Shepparton and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
