Stewards spoke to representative of the greyhound Mr Jye Formosa regarding the greyhound's racing manners and action in the home straight. After taking into account Mr Formosa's submissions, stewards accepted that Cassius Monelli was shifting out in the home straight and collided with Zipping Benny, and took no further action.

Speedy Ryder - Late scratching at 3:28 due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr D. Webber was fined $100.

Haddi Bale - Late scratching at 3:58 on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to an elevated temperature. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

The event was delayed approximately two minutes due to allow the removal of rabbits from the vicinity of the track.

New Punchline, King Of Swing and First Order collided approaching the home turn, checking King Of Swing. King Of Swing and Perfect Chase collided on the home turn, checking both greyhounds. King Of Swing and Perfect Chase collided in the home straight.
