It's A Date checked off Inga Mikey on the first turn.  Dukey Duke and It's A Date collided on the first turn.  Finniss Vision and Inga Mikey collided several times approaching the wining post.  Alisha Hook, Midnight Mission, Finniss Vision and Inga Mikey collided approaching the winning post. 

Dundee Ace, Bobby Ray and She Got Fire collided soon after the start checking Bobby Ray.  Voluptuous Blue, Ohana Sparkles and Buddy Goes Bang collided approaching the first turn checking Ohana Sparkles.  Voluptuous Blue and Buddy Goes Bang collided approaching the first turn checking Buddy Goes Bang.  Voluptuous Blue and Macs Road collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Ohana Sparkles checked off Macs Road on the home turn.  Voluptuous Blue and She Got Fire collided in the home straight and raced wide.

Shanlyn Spot – Late scratching at 9.37am when Mr D. Hill reported the greyhound to have a laceration injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Mister Mercury was quick to begin.  Lightning Artist was slow to begin.

Super Attitude stumbled approaching the first turn.  Bluwy, Pennine Way, Lightning Artist and Mister Mercury collided on the first turn checking Pennie Way, Lightning Artist and Mister Mercury.  Pennine Way and Mister Mercury collided approaching the home turn checking Mister Mercury.  Super Attitude raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight.  

Super Attitude underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left calf injury and an bruising to the right foot.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

All You Got - Late scratching at 11.32am on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a left wrist injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Pilot Pete and Red Queen were quick to begin.

Sooky Jooky checked off Kranskey soon after the start.  Pilot Pete checked off Red Queen on the first turn.  Sooky Jooky lost ground on the first turn.  House Of Luck and Kranskey collided entering the home straight.  House Of Luck, Kranskey and Go Lucy Go collided in the home straight checking House Of Luck.  Red Queen and Go Lucy Go collided in the home straight checking Go Lucy Go.  Sooky Jooky raced wide in the home straight.  

Sooky Jooky underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left front foot spike wound.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
