Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Chasin' Louie.
Cosmic Vigilante, Quintana Jive and Chasin' Louie were slow to begin. Gin Lee's Girl and Parabellum collided on the first turn severely checking both greyhounds. Cosmic Vigilante and Quintana Jive collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Spifflicate galloped on Parabellum approaching the home turn severely checking both greyhounds, Parabellum fell as a result, Spifflicate subsequently tailed off checking Geena Bale which raced wide.
Spifflicate underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right metatarsal fracture. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
Parabellum underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury and an abrasion to the left metatarsal. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
