A pre-race sample was taken from Nimble Nala.
Nimble Nala was quick to begin.
Janray Rastus and Cool Rage were slow to begin.
Cullquin Elijah and Mustered Courage collided soon after the start. Super Switch, Cool Rage and Lana's Image collided on the first turn severely checking Super Switch which fell as a result. Cullquin Elijah and Mustered Courage collided on the home turn. Cool Rage checked off Lana's Image on the home turn.
Super Switch underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hip injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
