Steward's Report
Zoe's All and Top Alcohol collided soon after the start checking Top Alcohol. Zoe's All checked off Mia Amour on the first turn. Red Hot Chance and Lily The Weapon collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Going In Style visibly eased on the first turn. Top Alcohol, Kraken Daisy and Soda Geoff collided on the first turn checking Kraken Daisy. Going In Style crossed wide entering the home straight and raced wide in the home straight.
Going In Style underwent a post-race veterinary examination, no apparent injury was detected. Mr M Johnson declined the option to have the greyhound re-vetted. Stewards spoke to Mr M Johnson regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Going In Style was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr M Johnson pleaded not guilty to the charge, Going In Style was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Shepparton and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
