Lisa's Edge was very slow to begin, 4 lengths.

La Coconut, Pontiac Icon and No Recourse collided soon after the start checking Pontiac Icon. Stewards issued Mr A Debattista with a warning pursuant to GAR 51 (9) after failing to box his greyhound Jackie Jai in a timely manner when directed to do so by the starter.

Zipping Ester and All Inn Christy were slow to begin. Gotta Jump Start and Inter Rose collided soon after the start. All Inn Christy, Rhino Rex, Inter Rose and Gotta Jump Start collided on the first turn checking Inter Rose and Gotta Jump Start. Zipping Ester checked off Jackie Jai on the first turn. Jackie Jai, Coconut Gloria and Gunmetal Liam collided on the first turn checking Coconut Gloria and Zipping Ester. Zoe's All and Top Alcohol collided soon after the start checking Top Alcohol. Zoe's All checked off Mia Amour on the first turn. Red Hot Chance and Lily The Weapon collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Going In Style visibly eased on the first turn. Top Alcohol, Kraken Daisy and Soda Geoff collided on the first turn checking Kraken Daisy. Going In Style crossed wide entering the home straight and raced wide in the home straight.

Going In Style underwent a post-race veterinary examination, no apparent injury was detected. Mr M Johnson declined the option to have the greyhound re-vetted. Stewards spoke to Mr M Johnson regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Going In Style was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr M Johnson pleaded not guilty to the charge, Going In Style was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Shepparton and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Hua Hin - Late scratching at 9:24pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a left shoulder injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Cinnamon Rose was quick to begin. Tat Scooby and All Inn Tyler collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.

Quando Quando underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Southern Edge - Late scratching at 6.41pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a right sesamoid injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Lava Lamp was slow to begin. Half Proven, Zharnel and Little Dynamo collided approaching the first turn checking Zharnel and Little Dynamo. Crackerjack Des and Half Proven collided on the first turn checking Half Proven. Little Dynamo and Lava Lamp collided entering the home straight.

Honey Eclipse and Our China Plate were slow to begin. Peaked and Harry's Entity collided soon after the start checking Harry's Entity. Peaked, Bound Two Affair and Scott Pizzazz collided on the first turn checking Scott Pizzazz, Bound Two Affair, Gunai Whisper, Where's Jamal and Harry's Entity. Gunai Whisper faltered on the home turn. Our China Plate and Scott Pizzazz collided entering the home straight and again approaching the winning post.

Gunai Whisper underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hip injury and abrasions to the right hind limb. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
