A pre-race sample was taken from Late Night Kebab.
Super Switch was slow to begin.
Super Attitude, Awakened Dragon and Mt. View Gift collided soon after the start. Late Night Kebab and Starring Ringo collided soon after the start. Super Switch checked off Tex Ribs approaching the 250m mark. Awakened Ringo and Mt. View Gift collided at the 200m mark. Starring Ringo checked off Tex Ribs at the 150m mark. Tex Ribs and Stray Cat collided approaching the 100m mark causing Stray Cat and Late Night Kebab to fall. Mt. View Gift checked off Starring Ringo at the 100m mark.
Stray Cat underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have bruising to the right shoulder, chest and back muscles and a laceration to the right achillies. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Late Night Kebab underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have bruising to the right back muscles and the right thigh. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
