Joffa's Galaxy, Honest Keithy and Dundee Blitz were slow to begin.
Honest Keithy, Go Shirvo Go and Dyna Ringo collided approaching the first turn checking Honest Keithy which contacted the running rail. Dundee Blitz, Go Shirvo Go and Dyna Ringo collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds. Go Shirvo Go and Dyna Ringo collided approaching the home turn checking Dyna Ringo. Honest Keithy and Dyna Ringo collided on the home turn. Go Shirvo Go and Dundee Blitz collided on the home turn. Dyna Ringo turned it's head outwards and shifted out on the home turn and collided with Go Shirvo Go and Dundee Blitz, checking Go Shirvo Go and Dyna Ringo.
Honest Keithy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury and a left foreleg abrasion. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Dyna Ringo underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to handler Ms K Jackson, regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Dyna Ringo was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms Jackson pleaded guilty to the charge, Dyna Ringo must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
