Wackadooka – Late scratching at 12.12pm when Trainer Mr. G. Campbell reported the greyhound to have diarrhoea (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
Almendra checked off My Fernando Tim on the first turn. Jaggered Stone and Pharoah's Dream collided on the first turn, checking Pharoah's Dream. Pharoah's Dream raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.
Stewards spoke to starter Mr. G. Brett and reminded him of his responsibility to activate the orange light before directing Trainers to box their greyhounds.
