Steward's Report
Charile's Feet – Late scratching at 12.03pm when Trainer Mr S. Jack reported the greyhound to have a pad injury (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
A pre-race sample was taken from Chloe's Boy Marv.
Magpie Robbie and Storming Vixen collided approaching the first turn checking Storming Vixen. Chloe's Boy Marv checked off Pookie Smurf on the first turn.
Stewards spoke to registered participant Mr W. Portelli regarding his failure to catch the greyhound Pookie Smurf at the conclusion of this event. Evidence was also taken from Pookie Smurf's Trainer Mr K. Tirchett. After considering the evidence Mr Portelli was issued with a warning for failing to fulfil his catching engagement.
