Don's Trouble and Pillar Creek collided soon after the start. Lethal Levi, Tuiaki Dora and Cool Rage collided on the first turn checking Tuiaki Dora and Cool Rage. Don's Trouble checked off Pillar Creek on the first turn. Cool Rage checked off Tuiaki Dora approaching the home turn. Super Stoked and Don's Trouble raced wide in the home straight.

Bageera - Kennel representative Ms M Shaw reported that the greyhound was found to have significant general soreness the following day with swelling to the left carpal. Ms Shaw added that the greyhound would be having a few weeks let up to before racing again.
