Belle’s On Boost checked off Krisbar Immy approaching the first turn.  Kiarni Jack and Valetta Mist collided approaching the first turn severely checking both greyhounds.  Kiarni Jack and Belle’s On Boost collided entering the home straight and again in the home straight.  Butch Regis raced wide in the home straight. 

Subsequent to the race Stewards delayed the "All Clear" to review the official race footage regarding the incident on the first turn, which caused the lure to be more than 8 metres in front of the eventual lead greyhound. After reviewing the footage, and acting on their own observations, Stewards determined that no greyhounds were substantially inconvenienced, and the result was was not impacted due to the incident. As a result, Stewards declared "All Clear."

Yondu was slow to begin.

Aston Xanadu brushed the rail on the first turn and lost ground as a result.  Yondu raced wide throughout the event. 

Short Note underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a mild right quadriceps injury. A five day stand down period was imposed.

Calender Boy – New declared weight of 36.7kgs, last raced at 35.2kgs.

Nambrok Agent and Calender Boy were quick to begin. 

Fidget Spinner, Fawn Regrets, Knocker's Gold and Very Venom collided on the first turn, checking Fidget Spinner, Knocker's Gold and Very Venom.  Fawn Regrets galloped on the heels of Azure Dragon on the first turn.  Azure Dragon raced wide on the first turn.  Knocker's Gold checked off Very Venom on the first turn.  Very Venom checked off Nambrok Agent on the home turn.  Nambrok Agent checked off Azure Dragon on the home turn and lost ground as a result.  Fidget Spinner raced wide on the home turn.
