Steward's Report
Due to a technical error Sky Channel was unable to be broadcast on track.
A pre-race sample was taken from Annaley Flash.
Angel's Halo was quick to begin. Jaimandy Carl was slow to begin. Perfect Rider and Jack's On Deck collided approaching the first turn. Angel's Halo and Crackerjack Des collided approaching the home turn checking Crackerjack Des which collided with Jack's On Deck. Annaley Flash raced wide in the home straight. Angel's Halo turned it's head and visibly eased in the home straight.
Angel's Halo underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right shoulder injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr. B. Jones, regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Angel's Halo was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Jones pleaded guilty to the charge, Angel's Halo must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
