Almendra and Zipping Josette collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn. Bakali Louis checked off Almendra approaching the home turn, checking Almendra, whcih lost ground as a result. Flying Sam, Pharoah's Dream and Zipping Josette collided approaching the home turn. Zipping Josette checked off Pharoah's Dream entering the home straight, causing Zipping Josette to stumble. Almendra checked off Zipping Josette in the home straight.
