Weighing 25.6kg and beginning from box 5, Whiter Shade completed the 400m trial distance in a time of 23.23. Whiter Shade placed 3rd in a field of 4, beaten by 8.25L. Whiter Shade has been cleared to race at all tracks except Horsham.
