Challis Annie and Dynamic Street collided soon after start. Rhomboid and Challis Annie collided at the 300m mark and again at the 250m mark checking Rhomboid. Soda King and Challis Annie collided at the 200m mark. Shirdale Tom and Run Fast Bonnie collided at the 150m mark. Kid Callum raced wide throughout the event.
Challis Annie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have left hock injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
