Mr Matthew Marshall failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Lumen Hustle for racing.  Mr Marshall was given a warning pursuant to GAR 46 (2).

Jackson County was slow to begin.

Yellowtail Bear, Lumen Hustle, All Show and Super Flyer collided soon after the start checking Yellowtail Bear, Lumen Hustle, All Show, Super Flyer and Jackson County.  All Show, Super Flyer, Fernando Sam and Predator collided on the first turn checking All Show, Super Flyer, Fernando Sam, Predator, Yellowtail Bear, Jackson County and Lumen Hustle; Lumen Hustle raced wide and tailed off as a result.  Predator checked off Fernando Sam approaching the home turn.  Fernando Sam and Predator collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight.  Yellowtail Bear checked off Super Flyer in the home straight.

Lumen Hustle underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 10. Lumen Hustle was found to have a suspected hairline metacarpal fracture to the left foreleg. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mr Marshall, the trainer of Lumen Hustle and acting under GAR 75 (1) Stewards ordered Mr Marshall to report any further injury as soon as practicable.  

A post-race sample was taken from Galloping Occy- the winner of the event.

Supplememtary Report 13.01.2020:

Trainer Mr Marshall reported to Stewards that upon examination the greyhound Lumen Hustle presented no further injury.

Sailing Shoes, Super Attitude and My Boy Winlock collided soon after the start.  Sailing Shoes and Ellias Bale collided approaching the first turn.  Sailing Shoes and Finniss Vision collided on the first turn.  Super Attitude and My Boy Winlock collided on the first turn causing both greyhounds to race wide.  Acer and Ellias Bale collided entering the back straight checking Acer; causing Aston Soho to clip the heels of Acer which lost ground.  My Boy Winlock checked off Super Attitude in the back straight.  Aston Soho and One Babe collided approaching the third turn.  Sailing Shoes crossed to the rails approaching the home turn causing Aston Soho to clip the heels of Sailing Shoes.  Sailing Shoes and My Boy Winlock collided entering the home straight.  

Miss Murino was slow to begin.

Winlock Player crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Entwined, No Standing, Stacey Bott and Poppo's Darling.  Poppo's Darling and Winlock Player collided on the first turn checking Poppo's Darling.  No Standing checked off Entwined on the first turn.  

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Rockette Lee, a post race sample was subsequently taken.

Double Bolt was slow to begin.

Rockette Lee and Miss Caitlyn collided soon after the start checking Rockette Lee.  Go Charlotte Go and Bigwig collided approaching the first turn checking Go Charlotte Go.  Rockette Lee and Double Bolt collided on the first turn checking Double Bolt.  Cosmic Katie and Go Charlotte Go collided on the first turn checking Go Charlotte Go.  Potente Rocks checked off Miss Caitlyn on the home turn.  Potente Rocks and Bigwig collided entering the home straight.    

You Tell Me, Pete's Dream and King Of Swing were slow to begin.

New Punchline, Rollo Ragnar and Pete's Dream collided soon after the start checking Rollo Ragnar and Pete's Dream.  Pete's Dream and King Of Swing collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Moonie Convoy and You Tell Me collided on the first turn checking Moonie Convoy, You Tell Me, Pete's Dream and King Of Swing.  Moonie Convoy checked off Rollo Ragnar on the second turn.  New Punchline checked off Cherokee Cat on the second turn.  Rollo Ragnar checked off Cherokee Cat in the back straight checking New Punchline.  Pete's Dream checked off Moonie Convoy on the third turn.  Rollo Ragnar galloped on Cherokee Cat on the third turn checking Rollo Ragnar, Cherokee Cat, You Tell Me and Moonie Convoy.

A post-race sample was taken from Shamrock Boy- the winner of the event.

Lady Bang Bang - Late scratching at 10.59am due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24).A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

For The Alliance was quick to begin.

Omar Little and Dreamy Eyes collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Omar Little.  Atomic Icon and Chillin collided approaching the first turn checking Chillin.  Omar Little checked off Dreamy Eyes on the first turn checking Sisco Ride.  Atomic Icon and Chillin collided approaching the second turn checking Atomic Icon.

Omar Little underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries both triangle and deltoid muscles and to the right monkey muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race sample was taken from For The Alliance- the winner of the event.

Xera Bale – Late scratching at 1:31pm due to the greyhound not being presented (non arrival) (GAR 31). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr Brandyn Grenfell was fined $100.

Winlock Winner and Fourth Dimention were slow to begin.

Ishmy Lady and Winlock Winner collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds.  Lightwood Lass and Ishmy Lady collided approaching the first turn.  Winlock Winner crossed to the rails on the first turn checking Ishmy Lady and Soda Flakes.  Fourth Dimention and As Only Is collided in the back straight.  Soda Flakes checked off Zipping Hazel on the third turn.  

Triple Double was slow to begin.

Pat Malone lost ground on the third turn.  Go Pappa Go tired over the concluding stages of the event.

Pat Malone underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to both wrists and trapezius muscles. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Callister and Mandalorian collided soon after the start.  Mandalorian and Blue Hunter collided approaching the first turn.  Demolisher checked off Mandalorian on the first turn.  Blue Hunter and Steinbrenner collided on the first turn.  Callister raced wide on the first turn. 

Demolisher underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left sesamoid injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Parzival, Everything I Do, I'm A Krakouer and Bronelly Jacob collided on the first turn checking Parzival, Everything I Do and I'm A Krakouer.  Everything I Do checked off Bronelly Jacob on the second turn.

A pre-race sample was taken from Miss Firebird.

Ayo Joy and Barcia Prince collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds.  Impending and One Thrill collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Miss Firebird, Impending and One Thrill collided on the first turn checking Miss Firebird, Impending, One Thrill and Ayo Joy.  

An out of competition sample was taken from Kilpatrick on 07.01.20 pursuant to GAR 79A.
