Dorrigo Bale – Late scratching at 4.07pm when Mr C. Capuano reported the greyhound to have an illness (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
Rock It Fernando was slow to begin.
Iago Bale crossed to the inside soon after start colliding with Zambora Andy, Dyna Uni, Titanium Lad and Kraken Buster. Dyna Uni checked off Zambora Andy approaching the first turn. Titanium Lad and Rock It Fernando collided on the first turn and and again on the second turn. Titanium Lad and Rock It Fernando collided in the back straight. Titanium Lad checked off Rock It Fernando approaching the third turn.
