Ultimate Mac and Tara's Magic collided approaching the 50m mark checking Ultimate Mac; causing Ultimate Mac to lose ground.  

Horeys Shout, Next Challenge and Striding Edge were slow to begin.

Horeys Shout and Next Challenge collided soon after the start checking Horeys Shout.  Next Challenge and Urana Rose collided approaching the 250m mark.  Horeys Shout crossed to the outside approaching 250m mark.  Next Challenge and Urana Rose collided approaching 200m mark checking Urana Rose.  Next Challenge and Sassy Keats collided at the 200m mark.  Next Challenge and Brooke's Wings collided several times from 200m mark to the 100m mark checking both greyhounds.   

Taylor's Trouble and Tiny Shiny collided soon after the start checking Taylor's Trouble which lost ground.  Armageddon Arby checked off Where's Spolly at the 250m mark.  Peace Of Hope and Tiny Shiny collided at the 150m mark checking Flying Banjo.  Where's Spolly and Tiny Shiny collided at the 50m mark checking Where's Spolly and Peace Of Hope.  Uno Hostile, Tiny Shiny and Flying Banjo collided approaching the winning post.

Taylor's Trouble underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have bruising over the right shoulder. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Crazy Jake went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.

Czar Tifia crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Max The Maniac, Light Show and Catch Me Spolly.  Full Of Mojo crossed in soon after the start checking Korama and Riley's Reason.  Czar Tifia and Full Of Mojo collided approaching the 250m mark checking Czar Tifia.  

Czar Tifia underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the right hind paw. No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr Dean Allsop, the trainer of Czar Tifia regarding its performance in this event. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Czar Tifia must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

A pre-race sample was taken from Double Bolt.

Midnight Breeze and Mad Eye Madam collided soon after the start.  Mad Eye Madam crossed to the rail soon after the start.  Double Bolt and Ray Shoesmith collided at the 300m mark.  Double Bolt, Ray Shoesmith and Midnight Breeze collided several times from approaching the 200m mark to approaching 150m mark.  Ray Shoesmith and Double Bolt collided several times from the 150m mark to 100m mark.  Double Bolt and Midnight Breeze collided several times approaching the 50m mark to approaching the winning post.  Lightning Artist checked off Hello Goodnight approaching the winning post.

Aston Hazard and Kiowa Kaema collided soon after the start.  Aston Hazard and Kiowa Kaema collided at the 250m mark checking Kiowa Kaema.

Atlas Anonymous and Natural Cruiser collided soon after the start and again approaching the 250m mark checking Atlas Anonymous.  Xan Mai, Lights Of Tanjil, Atlas Anonymous and Natural Cruiser collided approaching the 200m mark checking Lights Of Tanjil and Atlas Anonymous.  Doran's Call checked off Natural Cruiser at the 150m mark.  Natural Cruiser and Rhino Rex collided at the 100m mark.

Lights Of Tanjil underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a split webbing to left hind paw and a spike wound to the right hind leg. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Cullquin Panda – Late scratching at 11:10pm 15/12/19 when Mr Richard Ancen reported the greyhound to have an Illness-Acidosis (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Pure White Evil – Late scratching at 6:56am when Mr Andrew Paraskevas reported the greyhound to have a wrist injury (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Ohana Sparkles was quick to begin.

Monaco Lights and One Thrill collided soon after the start.  One Thrill checked off Monaco Lights at the 300m mark.  Ohana Sparkles checked off Monaco Lights at the 200m mark.  Lightning Parade and Golden Years collided approaching the 100m mark checking Lightning Parade.
