Crown Armani and Aaron’s Me Boy collided on the first turn severely checking Aaron's Me Boy which contacted the running rail.  Maverick Rosa and Bubba Jo collided approaching the home turn checking Maverick Rosa.  Wolfie's Swagger checked off Big Bro Zesta on the home turn. 

Aaron's Me Boy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left thigh injury and a laceration below the right eye.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

Akina Indie was very slow to begin (3 lengths).

Greta June and Kiwi Hustler collided soon after the start checking Greta June.  Mia's Hand and Maverick Nacho collided on the first turn.  Knuckle Buster and Kiwi Hustler collided on the first turn checking Knuckle Buster, Kiwi Hustler and Gunmandu.  Akina Indie raced wide on the home turn. 

My Girl Mel, Begonia Bale and Akina Spot were quick to begin.

Street Artist checked off Beth Ablaze soon after the start causing Street Artist and Little Miss Ivy to collide.  Beth Ablaze and Aston Cabernet collided soon after the start.  Street Artist contacted the running rail on the first turn.  Beth Ablaze lost ground on the first turn.  Little Miss Ivy raced wide approaching the home turn and crossed into the rail on the home turn.  Lennie's Flyer and Aston Cabernet collided on the home turn.  Akina Spot raced wide entering the home straight.

Beth Ablaze underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Street Artist underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the left lateral radius.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Trainer Mrs C. McMillan requested that Looby Sky undergo a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hind toe dislocation and split webbing.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr C. Grenfell the trainer of Dyna Artist regarding the scratching from this event.  Mr Grenfell informed Stewards that the greyhound had been sold and to be trained interstate. Stewards excepted Mr Grenfell's explanation, no further action was taken.

Pink Floyd and Gloria Bale collided soon after the start.  Pink Floyd checked off Gloria Bale soon after the start.  Light The Track, Gloria Bale and Sky Wesley collided soon after the start.  Shanlyn Magic, Gloria Bale and Sky Wesley collided approaching the first turn.  Gloria Bale checked off Shanlyn Magic on the first turn causing Light The Track and Gloria Bale to collide.  Gloria Bale contacted the running rail approaching the second turn causing Gloria Bale to cross out checking Pink Floyd.  Pink Floyd checked off Gloria Bale in the back straight.  Cosmic Ollie raced wide in the home straight.  

Gloria Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the left medial stifle.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr R. Wagenaar the trainer of Parumba Taylah and acting under GAR 51 reminded Mr Wagenaar of his responsibilities to listen to the starters instructions. 

Aston Truffle was quick to begin.  Destini Agitator was slow to begin.

Rock Me Elijah checked off Mystic Jaguar soon after the start.  Destini Agitator and Mystic Jaguar collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn checking Destini Agitator.  Destini Agitator and Rock Me Elijah collided on the first turn.  Why Not Hugh and Big Bubbles collided on the first turn checking Big Bubbles.  Rock Me Elijah checked off Take A Rose approaching the home turn.  Rock Me Elijah, Problem Solved and Take A Rose raced wide in the home straight.  Big Bubbles and Mystic Jaguar collided in the home straight and again approaching the winning post.

Mr P. Pollutro the representative was issued with a warning after the greyhound Valley Reaper was negligently (GAR 86(o)) placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process. 

Club Official Mr D. Henry was reminded of their responsibilities after the greyhound Valley Reaper was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process. This matter was referred to the Club Manager for further consideration and remediation.

Lektra Miss, Just Faith, Glayva and Valley Reaper were quick to begin.  Lucas Rose and Tinker Bess were slow to begin.

Glayva and Valley Reaper collided approaching the first turn checking Valley Reaper which lost ground.  Tinker Bess and Valley Reaper collided on the first turn.  Lektra Miss and Just Faith collided on the first turn checking Lektra Miss which collided with Superstar Jessie.  Lucas Rose and Superstar Jessie collided approaching the home turn.  Ado Carr and Glayva collided approaching the home turn.  Ado Carr visibly turned its head and marred Just Faith in the home straight.

Valley Reaper underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury.  A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Ado Carr underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have right triangle injury.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mrs L. Russell, the trainer of Ado Carr regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Ado Carr was charged with marring. Mrs Russell pleaded guilty to the charge, Ado Carr is suspended for 3 months at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(b) before any future nomination will be accepted.

A sample was taken from Blue Irish at the Trainer’s kennel earlier today.

Golden Romance and Paw Licious were quick to begin.  Blue Irish and Airly With Grace were slow to begin.

Fine For Me and Crackerjack Jase collided approaching the first turn checking Crackerjack Jase.  Paw Licious checked off Southern Edge on the first turn.  Blue Irish raced wide on the first turn checking Dream Gem and severely checking Fine For Me and Airly With Grace.

Fine For Me – Proved difficult to box and will be boxed first in future events in accordance with GAR 52.
