Stewards conducted a check of catcher’s licences in accordance with LR 16.2 and all were compliant.

Bayside Bourbski was quick to begin.  Butter Puddin' was slow to begin.

My Ripper Gogo underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the left metatarsal. No stand down period was imposed.

Mr. Lonely underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right foreleg shoulder joint injury and a right foreleg deltoid muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Vixstar, Rixy Ya Pest, Atlas Shiralee and Kawhi collided soon after the start, checking Kawhi, Atlas Shiralee and Rixy Ya Pest.  Nella Bale, Vixstar, Kawhi and Winlock Buttons collided on the first turn, checking Kawhi, Atlas Shiralee, Nella Bale and Winlock Buttons. Hander Mr I. Chircop requested an early race endorsement for Voller. The endorsement was approved for Voller after an examination prior to racing by the on-track veterinarian. Stewards directed the greyhound compete in 'early races' only until further notice.

Brother Griff and Pink Tiara were quick to begin.  Lock Pepper and Threadin' Mikado were slow to begin. 

Krisbar Immy and Chasin'Bobbi collided soon after the start, checking both greyhounds.  Cash No Bounce checked off Brother Griff approaching the first turn.  Krisbar Immy checked off Atlas Bombshell approaching the first turn.  Lock Pepper and Threadin' Mikado collided on the first turn.  Chasin' Bobbi and Atlas Bombshell collided approaching the home turn, checking Atlas Bombshell. 

Lock Pepper underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have split webbing to the right foreleg. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

The start of this race was delayed due to concerns Steward's had with the racing surface. After initially walking the track and consulting with Club Staff, Stewards ordered all greyhounds back to the kennels to enable remedial work to be undertaken. As the remedial work was being performed, Stewards further inspected the track and deemed it safe for racing. Stewards abandoned Race 12 at 7.10pm due to a collective decision made by the Trainers and Handlers not to race due to concerns they had with animal welfare.
