Okay Curtly was slow to begin.
Okay Curtly and Belena Blaze collided soon after the start. Belena Blaze and See Nitro collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn. Brazen King, Shift Change and Ezra Bale collided on the first turn severely checking Shift Change, Ezra Bale and Fugacious causing Brazen King to fall; Belena Blaze and See Nitro fell and contacted the outside fence as a result. Ezra Bale, Shift Change and Fugacious collided on the home turn.
Brazen King underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right carpal sprain. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
