Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Due to technical issues during the kennelling process, kennels closed approximately 14 minutes late. As a result, the starting times for the first three events were rescheduled as follows - Race 1 - 11:20am, Race 2 - 11:36am and Race 3 - 11:50am.

Repentless, Mt. View Wrap and Blue Tick Erin were slow to begin.

Repentless crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Mt. View Wrap. Braemar Ally Fay checked off Draconic Lad approaching the 200m mark. Light Show and Firing Fernando collided approaching the 200m mark and again at the 200m mark checking Light Show and Mt. View Wrap. Mt. View Dream faltered approaching the 150m mark and lost ground. Blue Tick Erin and Braemar Ally Fay collided at the 50m mark. 

Mt. View Dream underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed. 

This event was rescheduled to 11:36am.

Six And Out crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Beryl Cheryl. Our Girl Daisy and Especially Eager collided soon after the start. Lily Leopard and Berry Boomer colided soon after the start. Our Girl Daisy and Especially Eager collided apporaching the 200m mark. Six And Out and Mt. View Molly colldied at the 200m mark. Our Girl Daisy, Especially Eager and Berry Boomer collided at the 100m mark checking Our Girl Daisy and Beryl Cheryl. Our Girl Daisy checked off Especially Eager approaching the 50m mark. Berry Boomer and Especially Eager collided several times approaching the 50m mark to approaching the winning post. Beryl Cheryl galloped on Especially Eager approaching the winning post checking both greyhounds, Beryl Cheryl stumbled as a result. 

Berry Boomer underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Stewards spoke to Michele Berry, the Trainer of Berry Boomer regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Due to the significant interference with Especially Eager at this stage of the event Stewards issued Berry Boomer with a warning on this occasion.

This event was rescheduled to 11:50am.

A pre-race sample was taken from Saharrah Blitz.

Lenny's Jagger checked off Jay Kay Kersey approaching the 200m mark checking Our Ryker. Gracie's Girl and Saharrah Blitz collided at the 200m mark. Saharrah Blitz raced wide at the 150m mark and collided with Gracie's Girl and Leprechaun Tink several times, checking Gracie's Girl, Leprechaun Tink and Lenny's Jagger.

Stewards spoke to Yvonne Cassidy, the Trainer of Braemar Furey and issued a warning regarding the greyhounds boxing manners.

Stewards delayed the all clear following the running of this event due to an incident in the catching pen which caused an issue with identifying a greyhound.

Casanova Man and Heeza Nippa collided soon after the start. Casanova Man and Montanaro collided at the 300m mark. Swift Binga checked off Paint Peeler approaching the 250m mark and raced wide. Peace Of Hope raced wide approaching the 250m mark checking Heeza Nippa. Heeza Nippa and Swift Banga collided approaching the 200m mark. Peace Of Hope and Heeza Nippa collided at the 150m mark and again at the100m mark. Peace Of Hope and Montanaro collided approaching the 50m mark.

Aston Turbine and Diama Miss collided soon after the start. Aston Turbine and Braemar Sassy collided several times from the 300m mark to the 200m mark checking both greyhounds. Wrong Decision and Especial Envy colldied several times from the 300m mark to the 200m mark checking both greyhounds. Wrong Decison checked off Diama Miss at the 100m mark. Especial Envy clipped the heels of Big Bash Punter approaching the winning post. 

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Big Bash Punter. A subsequent post-race sample was taken.

Impending, Tigga Toy and Speedy Spyro collided soon after the start checking Tigga Toy and Speedy Spyro. Speedy Spyro and Erolo Bale collided soon after the start. Tigga Toy checked off Speedy Spyro at the 300m mark and crossed to the outside. Royal Arrival raced wide approaching the 200m mark and collided with Erolo Bale.

Tigga Toy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left thigh and left wrist, a spike wound to the right front toe and an abrasion to the left ear. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Fly By Them, Stacey Bott, Bags On Shazza and Know Success collided soon after the start checking Stacey Bott. Bags On Shazza and Know Success collided at the 300m mark. Flashy De Goey, Stacey Bott and Bags On Shazza collided at the 250m mark. Stacey Bott and Bags On Shazza collided approaching the 200m mark checking both greyhounds. Stacey Bott and Know Success collided at the 200m mark checking Stacey Bott and Flashy De Goey. Stacey Bott and Know Success collided at the150m mark checking Stacey Bott and Flashy De Goey.

Flying Solo was slow to begin. 

Flying Solo and Osiris Child collided soon after the start. Kadalex Kid and Tui collided approaching the 250m mark and again approaching the 100m mark. Expense Eve and Ted's Dream collided at the 150m mark. 

Lottie Biscotti and Crackerjack Mick collided soon after the start. Big Flash Marjen and Balance collided soon after the start. Blazin' Bulla crossed to the rail at the 300m mark checking Crackerjack Mick. Lottie Biscotti and Blazin' Bulla collided at the 300m mark and again at the 250m mark. Big Flash Marjen and Balance collided approaching the 100m mark.

Big Don't Argue and White Cynder collided at the 200m mark and again approaching the 150m mark. Big Don't Argue, White Cynder and Especial Empire collided at the 150m mark checking White Cynder which subsequently collided with Sharky Shark. Big Don't Argue and White Cynder collided at the 100m mark checking White Cynder. Big Don't Argue checked off Sharky Shark at the 50m mark.

A pre-race sample was taken from Cloncurry Girl.

Super Switch crossed to the outside at the 250m mark. Cloncurry Girl and Especial One collided at the 200m mark checking Cloncurry Girl.

Clarence Clocka was slow to begin and checked off Furtado soon after the start. Cullquin Panda and Almapa Gallucci collided soon after the start. Clarence Clocka faltered at the 250m mark and subsequently tailed off. Ginny Wolf, Cullquin Panda and Thrill Me collided at the 200m mark. Ginny Wolf checked off Cullquin Panda at the 150m mark. Tubark raced wide throughout the event. 

Clarence Clocka  underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to both back muscles. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
