A pre-race sample was taken from Mepunga Maggie.
Cacophony, Lots Of Chatter and Cousin Niall collided soon after the start, checking Lots Of Chatter. Cacophony checked off Lots Of Chatter on the first turn. Mimstar checked off Mepunga Maggie on the first turn. Mimstar raced wide on the home turn.
Mimstar underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr K Lloyd regarding the performance of the greyhound. After viewing the official replays, acting on their own observations and considering the evidence from Mr Lloyd Stewards took no action on this occasion.
