Steward's Report
Immersion was quick to begin. Lily Potter, Potent and Corazon De Leon were slow to begin.
Galactic Athena, Corazon De Leon and Zipping Murphy collided soon after the start. Rock Me Gorgeous and Corazon de Leon collided on the first turn. Potent, Lily Potter, Zipping Murphy and Boombox Charlie collided entering the back straight checking Zipping Murphy and Boombox Charlie. Potent and Lily Potter collided approaching the third turn. Zipping Murphy checked off Boombox Charlie on the third turn.
A post-race sample was taken from Immersion - winner of the event.
Lily Potter underwent a post-race veterinary examination after the greyhound failed to be secured in the catching pen. Lily Potter was found to have abrsions to the left fore limb and right upper lip. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
