Whatever I Want was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right back muscle and right triangle muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Valletta Sky and Captain Jake were quick to begin.  Major Minter and Gettysburg were slow to begin and collided soon after the start.  Zekel Bale checked off Silver Cupcake approaching the first turn.  Eastside and Silver Cupcake collided on the first turn, severely checking Eastside and Gettysburg.  Valletta Sky checked off Captain Jake on the first turn checking Major Minter, causing Ledgerwood Libby to fall.

The muzzle of Major Minter became partially dislodged during the running of this event.

The Stewards declared this event a “No Race” in accordance with GAR 56, after Sir Duke, which fell on the first turn, ran back into the field and affected the placings.

Stewards subsequently spoke to MGRA employees Mr C Lake, and Mr J Haigh regarding an incident in the catching pen which caused Sir Duke to run back into field. After taking evidence from both employees, stewards decided to refer the incident to club management and the GRV Racing Department for further consideration and action.

Security Code and Chief Fernando were quick to begin.  Mrs. Sharp and Chief Fernando collided soon after the start.  Welsly Bale, Oxley One, Riddles and Ma's Plum Jam collided approaching the first turn checking Oxley One, Riddles and Ma's Plum Jam.  Mrs. Sharp, Ernesto Bale, Oxley One and Riddles collided on the first turn checking Ernesto Bale, severely checking Oxley One and Riddles.  Chief Fernando and Welsly Bale collided approaching the second turn.  Chief Fernando checked off Security Code in the home straight.

Kinloch Moss, Halberd Bale and Jaro Bale were slow to begin.  Halberd Bale and Jaro Bale collided soon after the start.  Halberd Bale checked off Tauwitchere on the first turn checking Jaro Bale.  Dyna Smokey and Riley's Paige collided on the first turn checking Riley's Paige, Kinloch Moss and Halberd Bale.  Jaro Bale collided with the running rail and lost considerable ground as a result.  Riley's Paige checked off Penta Allen on the second turn.  Halberd Bale checked off Dyna Smokey entering the home straight.
