Steward's Report
Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8. Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff, at all times.
All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.
Goggins – Was a late scratching at 16:44 due to non-arrival (GAR 31). Mr. G. Harding informed Stewards that he had a vehicle breakdown on-route to the track. This was authenticated to the satisfaction of the Stewards and as such, no stand down penalty was imposed.

Crackerjack Pack and McIvor Ernie collided soon after the start. McIvor Ernie and Elanda Bale collided soon after the start. Savannah Lee, Sonic Rainboom and Cyclone Ruby Lee collided approaching the first turn and on the first turn checking Sonic Rainboom. Elanda Bale and McIvor Ernie collided approaching the home turn. Elanda Bale and Sonic Rainboom collided approaching the home turn. McIvor Ernie raced wide entering the home straight and in the home straight. Cyclone Ruby Lee crossed to the inside in the home straight checking Savannah Lee.
Sonic Rainboom underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a torn nail left on the foreleg. A five day stand down period was imposed.
