Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff, at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful heatlh screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Betty Spaghetti was slow to begin  and galloped on Always Innocent soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Wishly Bale, Skibo Rebel and Tinker China collided on the first turn checking Wishly Bale. Tinker China checked off Blackpool Holly on the first turn. Picogram and Little Queeny were slow to begin.

Let's Go Sally underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right monkey muscle. A10 day stand down period was imposed.

Fran Bale  underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right wrist injury. A10 day stand down period was imposed.

Crackerjack Kane, Classified, Mepunga Wonder, Medina and Razor Sharp collided soon after the start checking Classified, Mepunga Wonder and Medina. Classified and Mepunga Wonder collided on the first turn checking Classified and Lena Lake. Victoria's Kara, Razor Sharp and Crackerjack Kane collided on the first turn checking Razor Sharp.Crackerjack Kane and Mepunga Wonder collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Mepunga Wonder underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left monkey muscle,a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to handler Mr. M. Lanigan regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Mepunga Wonder was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Lanigan pleaded guilty to the charge, Mepunga Wonder must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Saint Rufus was slow to begin.

Invictus Lenny checked off Amuri Flo soon after the start. Tinker Cher checked off Nitro Yap soon after the start. Tinker Cher checked off Terka Wye on the first turn. Smooth Operator and Amuri Flo collided on the first turn. Terka Wye and Tinker Cher collided in the home straight.

Belfast Dot and Weblec Haze collided on the first turn checking Belfast Dot which raced wide as a result. Tough Tears and Repercussions collided approaching the home turn.
