Fabriola Citrus was slow to begin.
Oaklee Bale shifted in soon after the start checking Mountain and Burst Of Yap. Galaxy Queen, Zulu Walk, Elanda Bale and Fast Lane collided approaching the first turn checking Elanda Bale. Oaklee Bale, Galaxy Queen, Zulu Walk and Fast Lane collided on the first turn checking Galaxy Queen, Zulu Walk, Mountain, Burst Of Yap, Elanda Bale and Fast Lane. Galaxy Queen, Zulu Walk and Mountain collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds. Elanda Bale cramped over the concluding stages.
Elanda Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have cramped. No stand down period was imposed. Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp) Elanda Bale must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.
