Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff, at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Grand Warrior checked off Ivy Wren soon after the start. Harmon Bale checked off Ivy Wren on the first turn. Ivy Wren, Aston Elektra, Hello Keen and Our Ando collided on the first turn checking Harmon Bale and Our Ando and severely checking Aston Elektra and Hello Keen. Agent Stella checked off Hello Keen approaching the home turn. Grand Warrior and Hello Keen collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn. Harmon Bale and Rob's Outlander collided on the home turn and again in the home straight.

Mick's Kimmy and Aston Estate were slow to begin.

Nevilla Bale and Fabriola Yes collided on the first turn. Aston Estate galloped on Mepunga Fairy on the first turn checking Fabriola Yea and Alsace, severely checking Mepunga Fairy and Nevilla Bale and causing Aston Estate to fall.

Aston Estate underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abraded carpal pad. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race sample was taken from Annie My Mate - the winner of the event.

Apt Flash and Winslow Lodge were slow to begin.

Rilynn Bale, Only Sometimes and Big Buck collided approaching the first turn checking Only Sometimes. Big Buck checked off Blackpool Grace on the first turn  checking Only Sometimes. Only Sometimes, Magenta Glow and Patricia Mary collided approaching the home turn checking Patricia Mary and severely checking Magenta Glow. Big Buck and Winslow Lodge collided on the home turn.

Magenta Glow underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions to both the left and right hindlegs. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Fabriola Citrus was slow to begin.

Oaklee Bale shifted in soon after the start checking Mountain and Burst Of Yap. Galaxy Queen, Zulu Walk, Elanda Bale and Fast Lane collided approaching the first turn checking Elanda Bale. Oaklee Bale, Galaxy Queen, Zulu Walk and Fast Lane collided on the first turn checking Galaxy Queen, Zulu Walk, Mountain, Burst Of Yap, Elanda Bale and Fast Lane. Galaxy Queen, Zulu Walk and Mountain collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds. Elanda Bale cramped over the concluding stages.

Elanda Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have cramped. No stand down period was imposed. Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp) Elanda Bale must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.

A post-race sample was taken from Oaklee Bale - the winner of the event.

IThe Stewards declared this event to be a “No Race” in accordance with GAR 56 after the lids failed to open at the correct time (late) when the lure reached the starting point as outlined in GAR 54 (3). The Stewards were not satisfied that the delay to the lids opening (the start) afforded a fair and equal start to the field, in accordance with the rules and as such, declared it to be a no-race.

The prizemoney will be distributed equally amongst the greyhounds who competed in the race. Betting will be subject to refunds. Weights recorded for the greyhounds are void and will not be used for future events.

The 450mtr starting boxes were tested successfully several times prior to this event.

Weblec King and Drogheda County collided soon after the start checking Drogheda County. Daniel Avocado, Weblec King and Tin Shed Fred collided approaching the first turn checking Weblec King. Weblec King galloped on Daniel Avocado approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.

Charley Davidson, Mod Squad and Zipping Mack collided approaching the first turn. Charley Davidson checked off Spring Typhoon on the first turn. Oriental Jade and Pictor Lucy collided on the first turn checking Pictor Lucy. Charley Davidson checked off Mod Sqaud entering the home straight  checking Zipping Mack.

This event was manually started.

Rockstar Gately and Rampant Teresa collided on the first turn checking Rampant Teresa. Aston Corinna, Nitro Yap and Rampant Teresa collided approaching the home turn checking Rampant Teresa. Aston Corinna and Nitro Yap collided on the home turn. Rockstar Lincoln raced wide on the home turn.

Destruct and Little Mug were slow to begin.

Aston Stock checked off Foreman soon after the start. Shinjuku and Foreman collided apoproaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Aston Stock checked off Little Mug on the first turn. Little Mug and Foreman collided on the first turn. Aston Stock and Foreman collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds.

Mepunga Bella, Space Trucking, Aston Valkyrie, Tiggerlong Al and Slingshot Titan collided appraoching the first turn checking Mepunga Bella and Space Trucking. Aston Valkyrie, Tiggerlong Al and Slingshot Titan collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds.

Fawlner Park was slow to begin.

Crazy Old Duck shifted in soon after the start checking Fast Trapper and Euchre John. Fawkner Park checked off Euchre John on the first turn.
