Steward's Report
Thomeli Boy was quick to begin. Crackerjack Tys and Side Splitting were slow to begin.
Side Splitting and Pure Profit collided on the first turn severely checking Side Splitting. Artpop checked off Comrade on the first turn. Crackerjack Tys and Thomeli Boy collided on the first turn. Side Splitting raced wide on the home turn. Thomeli Boy raced wide entering the home straight.
A post-race sample was taken from Scuffy - the winner of the event.
Stewards spoke to Ms. D. Carr, the trainer of Scuffy, regarding the greyhound performing above market expectations in tonight's event. Ms. Carr stated that Scuffy is returning from an injury and she has given the greyhound a lengthy spell. Ms. Carr added that Scuffy has since improved it's boxing manners and in addition it's first split sectional times. Ms. Carr further added that Scuffy has trialled well prior to this event and she felt confident that the greyhound would be competitive. Stewards noted Ms. Carr's comments.
