Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff, at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful heatlh screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Due to the untimely arrival of the Veterinary Surgeon to the venue, kennelling closed at 1:51pm.

Scott Worth It underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a neck injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Ms E. Bowles, regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Scott Worth It was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms. Bowles pleaded not guilty to the charge, Scott Worth It must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Chill Winston underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hamstring injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Parade Steward Mr. R. Glass did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way, affected the outcome of this event.

Oriental Pins galloped on the heels Buffet Destroyer approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Oriental Pins contacted the running rail on the first turn. Fly High Billy, Buffet Destroyer and East Street collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds. East Street and Aston Ando collided on the home turn.

Oriental Pins underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the left elbow. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Speaking Spanish and Spring Haze collided on the first turn severely checking Stride For Pride and Speaking Spanish. Silky Rose and My Name's Darren collided entering the home straight. Slingshot Angel and Spring Haze collided in the home straight. Jodie's Boy and Wicked One collided approaching the winning post.

Go Pies and Brother Griff collided approaching the first turn checking Sudoku Ninja, Go Pies and Brother Griff. Brother Griff and Short Leash collided in the home straight.

Destini Agitator and Hartland Digger collided soon after the start. Hartland Digger checked off Posterior Chain approaching the first turn. She's My Blast underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a minor abrasion to the left hind foot. No stand down period was imposed.

Apple Valley underwent a veterinary examination prior to a trial. Apple Valley was found to have been vomiting and have an elevated temperature and was unable to trial.
